The works below are process based. Meaning that I have poured paint directly onto the surface of the canvas allowing for greater elements of chance to occur and therefore opening up a greater spontaneous dialogue between myself and the work. The poured paint mimics the appearance of ancient trees and hedgerows in a way that is free, spontaneous and organic just like the forms that I am seeking to represent.
