Having worked through the series of drawing exercises in response to the pre - course "Walking the Land" videos, I found myself beginning to incorporate quite naturally the elements of sound, movement, multiple view points, rubbings and mixed media into my drawings which really enlivened them!

I made a series of multiple viewpoint drawings (rotating the paper each time) in monochrome with the addition of wet media (ink) which really brought a sense of movement and flow to the pieces. I particularly enjoyed the addition of wax resist which added some depth and structure.

These drawings were made with the addition of some coloured inks, incorporating multiple viewpoints and moving about to encourage the inks to run in all directions!
