It feels great to have got my first online painting course up and running and I'm delighted to have successfully delivered my first session today!
It was wonderful to be able to work with such an enthusiastic group of artists from both near and far and to see some familiar faces too.
I've delivered many sessions online from home throughout the Pandemic under the umbrella of Cornwall Adult Education . Now thanks to a brand new super fast fibre connection I can deliver sessions from my studio pod in the garden in addition to the house which has freed me up enormously in terms of being able to deliver more practical workshop based sessions. This has also given me the scope and confidence to branch out independently which feels really good!
Obviously there was some anxiety as this was my first session, mainly fears about being let down by the technology. We've had some serious storms and high winds here lately so I feared the worst... however the weather gods were on my side and delivered a beautiful bright and tranquil morning. Yes spring was most definitely in the air here in North Cornwall and it felt like the perfect day for beginning a new venture.
I'm delighted that this first course filled up so quickly! The next one is now available from this website under "online courses & tutorials".
